Historical retrospective
Reliability, storage and the next checkpoint: October 1–5
The remaining work is to connect accepted evidence to dependable reporting and preserve recoverability before any retirement or broader activation.
The problem
An empty queue, a latest-result pointer or a large completed scan does not establish complete historical coverage, safe deletion or successful delivery.
What changed
October 1 accepted the passive layout revision for staging review. October 2 accepted the recovery packet for owner handoff; no runtime cutover, NAS copy, postverification or completed backup is established. October 5 contained ordinary queue callback failures so later events can still be attempted. Storage inspection preserves KEEP and an explicit unresolved frontier.
Evidence and review
The queue correction passed its scoped offline review; synchronous provider throws, Error recovery and exhaustive concurrency remain unqualified. An earlier reporting review found an unstable direct-confirmation identity. October 5: the correction that keeps current-source confirmations stable passed independent offline review. Historical body and schema joins, activation, and actual delivery remain held.
Result and limits
The latest locally recorded confirmation is September 28 at 00:22 UTC, or September 27 evening in Central time. Five older results remain locally pending; approved message-body joins and channel history remain unresolved. Storage remains partial with no retirement acceptance, copy or reclaimed-byte claim. The October 5 navigation lane remains frozen at its blocked checkpoint.
Next priorities at the checkpoint
Finish separate accuracy and coverage-binding reviews, retain every unknown delivery attempt, and reconcile exact message/channel/time/body evidence before resending. Resume only genuinely unsent parts after an approved partial batch. This dry run does not commit coverage.
Selected reviewed milestones
- Later events survive ordinary callback failures October 5, 2026
The retrospective's local preparation was reviewed. At the October 5, 2026 checkpoint, publication and delivery were held, and historical confirmation remained incomplete.
