Historical retrospective
Identity, movement and beginner continuity: September 28–October 5
The foundation work made lifecycle boundaries clearer: who an operation belongs to, when it may start or stop, and which saved observations can safely support the next step.
The problem
A plausible status or callback is not enough to establish identity, ownership or a completed operation. These changes preserve the evidence needed to decide what may happen next.
What changed
September 28–29 reviewed session admission, stop handling, one-start operator rehearsal, runtime-save fixtures and an isolated native-harness preparation. October 3–4 added immutable beginner projections, metadata validation and cooperating entry guards. October 5 retained the exact actor through service dispatch and pending settlement.
Evidence and review
On October 1, one genuine saved identity passed an authorized bounded TEST start/status/stop, save/release/reuse, same-database restart and separate restore rehearsal. It was delivered stopped, with normal startup passive. Later entry and service changes passed their narrower source and fixture reviews. October 3 joined the selected passive observer and beginner sources in offline fixtures; this does not qualify a whole backend or native journey.
Result and limits
Offline examples now refuse stale, malformed or mismatched continuity instead of treating it as success. The movement controller still holds unresolved admission and retirement cases. The later whole-lifecycle integration remains under review hold. October 3 recommendation observation kept missing evidence unavailable and excluded existing owned rows from fallback, including zero-quantity rows; owner policy and native behavior remain open.
Next priorities at the checkpoint
Join current saved-identity, authority and operation outcomes before widening the native journey. Preserve the missing enrollment evidence gate and the unresolved lifecycle cases; the older bounded rehearsal does not settle them.
